Five Carl Zeiss lenses tested on Canon and Nikon

Three powerful Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 25mm, 28mm and 35mm wide angle lenses have just been tested on a Nikon D3. Also available are our test results of two f/1.4 lenses, Planar T* 50mm and 85mm, tested on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

Three more lenses tested on Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Our Canon EOS 5D Mark II test has been updated with three more lenses, the brand new EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM, the inexpensive EF 24mm f/2.8 and the universal zoom lens EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.

Olympus E-30 and Nikon D3x tested

Two new and highly attractive system cameras have just left our test lab, the Olympus E-30 and the Nikon D3x. The 12 MP medium-range Olympus E-30 was tested with the new Zuiko Digital 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 II standard zoom, while the brand new AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G was tested on the 24 MP professional Nikon D3x.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II tested

Test results of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera with the EF 35mm f/1.4L USM lens has just been posted. The measurements are made from JPEG files with factory default settings.

Nine compacts from Canon, Nikon and Fujifilm tested

Over the past weeks, test results from nine popular compact cameras were posted. The tested Canon cameras are the PowerShot G10, PowerShot SX10 IS, Powershot A2000 IS, PowerShot E1, Digital IXUS 870 IS (PowerShot SD 880 IS) and Digital IXUS 980 IS (PowerShot SD 990 IS). Two cameras from Fujifilm, the FinePix S2000HD and the F60fd have also been added, while our latest Nikon test was of the Coolpix P6000.
